How is this different from a wobble board?
A wobble board pivots on the floor, so the platform slides sideways before it tilts. PIVOT holds the axis at the top surface, where your foot is. The board rotates in place and the feedback arrives the moment you load it.
How is the difficulty adjusted?
An integrated air compressor sets platform firmness across ten levels, controlled from the app or from the control on the unit. Higher pressure makes the surface firmer and steadier. Lower pressure makes it softer and more reactive. Level one is the easiest setting and level ten is the hardest.
Is the compressor loud?
It is comparable to a portable tire inflator and runs for a few seconds when you change levels. It is silent while you train.
How is it powered?
The compressor runs on an onboard rechargeable battery. Runtime figures will be published once the integrated unit is finished and measured.
Do I need my phone to use it?
No. There is a physical control on the unit for setting firmness. The app adds session tracking and your stability score.
Can I use it seated?
Yes. Levels one to three are firm enough to work seated, which is where a lot of people start.
What are the dimensions and weight capacity?
Final specifications will be published with the production unit. We are not quoting numbers we have not verified on the finished build.
What does the $50 deposit cover?
It holds the $495 founding price against an $899 retail price, and your place in the first production run. It applies toward the full price. It is refundable at any time before shipping by emailing admin@myneuroaxis.com.
When am I charged the balance?
When your unit is ready to ship, we email you to complete the remaining $445. You are never charged without confirming.
When will it ship?
We are not giving a date yet. The integrated unit is still in build with our engineering partner, and a date we cannot stand behind is worth nothing to you. We will not ask for the balance until we can show you a finished unit and a real window, and you can cancel for a full refund at any point before then.
Is PIVOT a medical device?
No. PIVOT by MyNeuroAxis is a general wellness and fitness product. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. If you are recovering from an injury or surgery, talk to your clinician before starting.
